♥ WHO KNOWS THE ANSWER ♥

I  have a questions for all you cross-stitchers   and  I need to know....NOW !!

I have this " itch" to make some pinkeeps..

Course I can't cross-stitch worth a hoot..

First of all it's been YEARS   since I've even tried  and second of all...

I'm  blind as a bat..

well, not totally... but gettin' there..

O.k.  I ran across this "tidbit" of information and i'm off " chasin' this rabbit" and I need some advice..

What is the difference between   aida  cloth and  evenweave ?

the best I can figure is they are both used for cross-stitchin'  but ....

does one have larger little squares to stitch in than the other...

So you see I need some help, here !1

I never heard of  evenweave but it sounds like a " better mousetrap" than aida cloth..

I'm always gettin' these " hare-brained" ideas that I can do " this"

and " this " could be anything difficult.. and I think because " cross-stitching"  is  a needle craft.. that cause I can " sew" ... I can do "this'

and before ya know what I'm doin'.. I'm investing in all this " stuff" to do " this" with and ...

well, my closets are just crammed full of " this stuff" that I've thrown up my hands in defeat...

and  off  chasin'  another  rabbit...

So

I need to know about   " evenweave"

anybody knows.... give me a helpin' hand  with advice

Before I go and do another  " closet stuffer".

Til I hear from ya'

Hi Maurine...I'm not sure what the difference is either but I use aida cloth myself. Because of my sight I most often use the 14 count or 18 count. I also have one of those hang off the neck magnifying glasses and it helps tremendously!! Good luck on your new endeavor!!

i'm not sure either. but i prefer linen or evenweave because it's softer than aida. it's a better quality than aida. denise

Hi Maurine....
Thanks for stopping by my blog for a visit and all the nice comments..
To answer your question about where I bought my lights...the shop is closing it doors at the end of the month...I checked and her website is gone so I'm assuming the shop is already closed..I know when I was there a week ago there wasn't much merchandise left..
Have a great evening....
