GRATEFUL INDEPENDENCE DAY

We  are so blessed  with the freedoms we are able to enjoy

because of the sacrifices made by

so many brave men and women who serve in our armed forces.

So on this special week-end, we need to pause and give grateful

honor  for these blessings.

I'm still tweakin' and hangin' and today I  was trying to hang a shelf

using  wall  thingys that you drive in the wall and then screw a screw in

to hold the shelf... well... ya know

me, I wound up with four holes in the wall and had given my can of spackle to my Michigan daughter when she left .. so what does a " make-do" crafter do... she puts nails in the wall and hung the shelf ..

OVER  THE  HOLES IN WALL..

   WELL,  IT WORKED  !1

YA CAN'T SEE THE HOLES, NOW !!

Seriously , it 's  temporary

until I get more spackle.

Here is my new picture of a cotton field with workers  and a wagon of cotton.. The frame is made from old barn wood.

I'm still workin' on the make-over and I have more plans for the girls next trip...

It's  payback time for Mom..

             til' next time..
