LOOK WHAT I GOT IN THE MAIL !!!

 

hey !! lookee what was waiting for me at the post office yesterday.

oh, my goodness !! when I saw who it was from… I couldn’t wait to get home to tear into it..

 

well I tell you, Dot must have spent a fortune on Bubble wrap  , I may have to reimburse her for that.. I tell you it took sharp scissors and all my strength to get to these beauties

YEP..I let out one of them “ picket”

squeels.. got it down pretty good , to !!

Ya know.. I had to  clean off  cabinet tops and rearrange baking dishes till nearly midnight trying to find just the right space for the jars.  still contemplating as to what to put in  them… oh..could it be colored macroni or beans or ….oh,

it’s gotta be just the right thing.. ya just don’t put any ole thing in a beautiful jar like these.. and the chicken dish towels… oh my goodness. last night when I finally went to bed,,, in my imagination, I made curtains out of ‘em and  then I remember that I had bought  blanket/towel rack from Carol at “Firecrackers “ and im thinkin’ I’ll find me a space in the kitchen to hang that and display my precious “ chicken dish towels”

Oh, Dot  you just made my day or maybe two or three days before I get them all just right … and then if that’s not just the bestest…… she threw in a set of measuring spoons…  Well, that is just the sweetest surprise  I’ve had in a long time… Bless you, Dot !!!

I’m still goin’ around sayin’ “ I just don’t believe this…. but it’s true…

So you’ll have to wait  till I get them all in just the right place.

then we’ll have a “ show-‘n-tell day.
