~whatcha' workin' on wednesday ~

Just got a  special order from a lady from

Country Sampler for a doll dress to hang made from red/white ticking,

So I rushed to fabric shoppe for some ticking,,  You can't go to a fabric shoppe for just one piece of fabric, now can ya'?

so  ~~~  I'll let you finish the rest of that chapter.

So cute! I just love pillow-ticking. I had kitchen wallpaper like it in my previous house. Just loved it.
Have a great weekend!

Hi Maureen
Love the dress and bonnet - adorable!!
I've never made anything with pillow ticking ...yet. It feels so 'rough' and thick to me. I'll have to try it as I do love the look.

They have come out with a thinner ticking and altho it is somewhat thicker than muslin , it is workable.Check your local fabric shoppes and see if they carry the lighter weight ticking,
